LIVE: EYVE Headlines at the Old Hairdresser’s, Glasgow

We are excited to share that Eyve’s forthcoming EP, ‘Sista! Beyond The Sky Isn’t The Limit’ will be unveiled at Glasgow’s Old Hairdresser’s on the 6th of March!

Since the release of ‘Um Indecisive‘ in November, Eyve has gone on to preform at the Scottish Alternative Music Awards, has supported Alison Russell as part of Celtic Connections, and has released a brand new single ‘(Gotta Go) to Therapy‘. Much like ‘Um Indecisive’ and ‘(Gotta Go) to Therapy’, the full EP promises a beautiful tapestry of emotions, styles, and genres.

The power of collaboration with other open minded individuals is an integral part of this EP. Bringing in people of colour from the LGBT community that are involved in the ‘vogueing ballroom scene.’ It is a part of my life that I rejected for so long but now I am so proud of it, I want to share it with the whole world! I have been playing around with some elements of my Zimbabwean culture, it brings me joy to put that in my music.
